The Clare is a majestic building that is located in the heart of the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York. Located at 301 East 61st Street, the Clare has 19 stories and 30 residential units. The condominium’s design focuses on the use of natural light in every space, and its exterior features a bright beige color.
Unique to this project, Porcelanosa was able to develop custom porcelain panels that emulated the same look as the natural limestone that was used throughout the base of the building.
After completing the project, the architect Manuel Glas stated, “the open joint ventilated system, ease of installation, and durability of porcelain… inspired new ways to treat the facade.”
Other Porcelanosa tile and bath products are featured throughout the walls, floors, bathrooms, and balconies of the units within the building.
